What's New?

New User Interface and Navigation – ProjectDox has been refreshed with a more modern user interface complete with new icons for a clean uniform look. The ProjectDox main projects page has been updated to now be the ProjectDox homepage that, by default, will display the user’s Tasks in full screen view. The new Home screen will include tabs at the top to allow the user to tab between their Tasks List and Projects List. ProjectDox now includes new Tasks and Projects grids that can be easily configured by the user for a more personal user dashboard. Users can move grid columns to different locations, hide columns they do not wish to see and sort or filter the column(s) to display the items they wish to view. Best of all, the grids can be saved so when the user logs back into ProjectDox tomorrow, the grid layouts and configurations are preserved.

New Applicant User Experience – The Applicant Upload eform task now includes a new formlet allowing the Applicant to upload their drawings and documents directly from the eform task screen, taking a two step process and simplifying it into a single, easy to understand step. This new Applicant experience also provides email confirmation of their uploads and task completions. Jurisdictions can also edit this confirmation email to add their “next steps” notification to the Applicant, keeping them informed.

New File Binder Feature – ProjectDox now supports a feature called Binder. The Binder feature allows a user to select multiple files and open them simultaneously. Once all the selected files open in the viewer, the user can easily page between all files by navigating with the scroll bar or the thumbnail list. Files can also be marked up and the markups will be specific to an individual sheet page. This is a great feature for pre-screen review and plans examiners that wish to easily view multiple files in a single view.

Updated Workflow Engine and Support for Dynamic Plan Review Workflow – New enhancements have been added to the ProjectFlow workflow engine, allowing for increased configurability, support for parallel plan review workflow (master / sub-workflows) and translations of all workflow text for increased personalization for workflow task eforms.

New User and Management Reports – ProjectDox will include several new management reports for monitoring and reporting workflow tasks and activities. This will make it easier to get access to the workflow process data you need to manage your plan review projects.

Improved Login Security – ProjectDox login security has been enhanced to include Google reCAPTCHA support and configuration to added security protection from external intrusion.

New ProjectDox APIs for Portal Integrations – New ProjectDox workflow task APIs have been created to support Applicant tasks via Avolve’s OAS Portal or other third-party web portals. This includes Applicant Upload, Project Status, Corrections/Revisions and Approval Download and allows the Applicant to remain within the Portal to complete their plan review activities without having to log directly into ProjectDox.
