When an Admin creates your account as a user in ProjectDox, you will receive an invitation email notification, like the one below. This email will have a verification code as well as a link to set up a password for OAS.
Click on the link.
Copy and paste or type verification code given in the email into the Verification Code field in the page.
Click Continue.
Set your password in the following page.
Click Update
The user will then be redirected to the OAS login page where they can log in to ProjectDox with the email and password they set.
There are some rules associated with receiving the verification emails. They are as follows:
When Portal and ProjectDox are linked, and debug is on in Portal:
If a new ProjectDox user is invited, the new user will receive the invitation email and not the email template in: \ProjectDox.Portal.Web.API\Custom\Common\Email\en\WelcomeEmail.html with the verification code. Therefore, the new user will not have a verification code.
When Portal and ProjectDox are linkedand a new user is invited and no debug in either system is active:
If the group’s Disable Invitation Email is checked, the new user will receive only the WelcomeEmail.html.
If the group’s Disable Invitation Email is not checked, the new user will receive the WelcomeEmail.html and the invitation email.
Since you do not create an account when being invited via ProjectDox, you must fill in all required personal information in the profile page in order to start an application request.
