If multiple departments use the same process (workflow) but the process is executed by different reviewer groups, you can use a single workflow. This can be done by creating project templates that are linked to a single workflow and using each project template to create the review configurations as needed.
For BIC Building and Planning
Access the Designer for the workflow, designate the Review Config as [Project Template Name].
Create Project Template 1 for the first department consisting of the required reviewer groups and users and chose the workflow for the Project Template.
Create a review config using the exact same name as the Project Template 1.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each department: Project Template 2 and Project Template 3 for instance.
For Universal Dynamic Review
Assume the workflow has 3 groupings, Building, Engineering and Zoning. Access the Designer and designate the Review Config as [Project Template Name]_Building, [Project Template Name]_Engineering, [Project Template Name]_Zoning.
Create Project Template 4 for the first department consisting of the required reviewer groups and users and choose the workflow for the Project Template.
Create three review configs using the exact same name as the prefix: Project Template 4_Building, Project Template 4_Engineering, Project Template 4_Zoning.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each department: Project Template 5 and Project Template 6 for instance.
The review configuration number
may increase dependent on the number of groupings a review is created
for.
