Project Status (System Administration)

Administrators can define categories for project status by adding or removing entries in the Project Status list. When any workflow is associated with a Project Template, it is standard to programmatically update the Project Status according to the point in the workflow such as Applicant Upload, Prescreen.

To add a new status category:

1.    Type a name for the new category in the text field. Once entered, the category sequence will always appear in alphabetical order.

2.     Select the SysAdmin Only checkbox if you want to restrict usage of this category to System Administrators only. Statuses marked as SysAdmin Only can be set only from the Projects page in the Administration area and do not display in the Edit page of a project.

3.     Click Add after entering each category.

4.     To remove an existing, status category, click the Delete icon  in the Remove column, corresponding with the appropriate category name.

 If the category is in use, a warning message will display that projects using that category must be reassigned to another before the category can be deleted.
