Workflow Reassignments (System Administration)

The Workflow Reassignment feature allows the System Administrator to search for all accepted or individually assigned tasks for a user across the site, and reassign those tasks to another user or back to the group.

  1. Select the applicable tab, Either Standard Workflow or ProjectFlow. If you are using both, you will need to repeat the procedure for each tab.

  2. In the User to reassign workflow tasks from field, start typing a user’s name. A list of selectable names matching your search input appears as you type (after the first three characters).

  3. Select the desired user and click Find to show a list of all workflow tasks assigned to this user. Steps 4 and 5 apply where the specified user belongs to more than one group. Otherwise, skip to step 6.

  4. If the user belongs to more than one group, a list of all tasks will display along with an additional field to filter the tasks by group.

 Standard Workflow only: While in the View All mode for a multiple group user, the reassignment capability is disabled, as shown below.

  1. To enable the reassignment capability for Standard workflow, click the group filter dropdown and select a specific group from the list.

  2. Select a reassignment option from the Reassignment dropdown.

a.   Click the Reassignment dropdown for a task to show available reassignment options for that task. For each task, select the desired option.

b.  To reassign all tasks to the same user or group, select the Cascade Save checkbox and select from the options in that dropdown. The system filters the options to display only those that apply to the entire list of tasks.

  1. Click Save All to save your changes.
