Email templates are used
to notify a user when events take place in ProjectDox. These standard
templates can be found in the Custom File Manager admin page under the
ProjectDox\Custom\en folder and will be set as defaults. The templates
can be edited, copied or deleted from this screen. Fields can also be
added to any of the email templates by selecting the template from the
left-hand menu, choosing a field from the Add
to template: drop down menu and clicking
. A
new template can also be created from this page by selecting
and
adding file name with a valid extension.
A report
summary is sent out at the end of the workflow to everyone involved
in the workflow.

All parameters are case-sensitive and work in the subject line and body text. It is possible that not all parameters will have values. For example, a user may not have filled out his city, state and zip code. In addition, the parameters are exclusive to each email. The context of the field number in the specific template will identify what the field is used for. An example would be if both the "New Folder" and "ProjectUserOwnerBatch_Invite" templates use field1; however, field1 is the name of the new folder on one and on the other field1 is the user login.

The following example shows how a subject line might be formatted in the email template for an invitation email. The "any text" would be replaced with text of your choosing:

This example will generate a subject line like the following:
ProjectDox Invitation to One Plaza Suite, Description - City Construction – Town Square, Status - Open.
