The Batch Stamp feature allows a user with Stamp permissions to select multiple files to be processed in a batch. The process converts copies of the files from their native format to PDF, TIFF, or DWF - with or without applying a stamp to the copies. The copies are automatically uploaded into the destination folder specified in the batch job.
Avolve Software strongly recommends Batch Stamping
to PDF. Saving to tiff results in either a large increase in file
size or a reduction in quality. The best option for quality when the
customer downloads and prints the approved files, and when the files
are referenced for revisions, is PDF
Using the Batch Stamp feature without applying stamps is simply a batch publishing function.
Stamp permissions are granted by a System Administrator in the Admin\Users section. Users with stamp permissions have full access to all the batch stamp templates, stamps and dynamic stamps.
To execute batch stamping, the user will also need upload permissions in the destination folder for the processed files.
