We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our Sales team. In this role, you will play a key part in generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying leads in the public sector for our SaaS software solutions.

This is a remote, full-time position open to candidates based in the United States. The Associate Account Executive will report to the Sales Director.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social selling, to generate leads and schedule meetings for the Sales team.
  • Research and identify potential customers and key decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Qualify leads based on specific criteria and engage in meaningful conversations to understand customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop effective lead generation strategies and campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and activities using CRM software, Salesforce.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified leads and meetings.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitors’ offerings.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in sales, telemarketing, or lead generation, preferably in technology or public sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Persistence and resilience to handle rejection and overcome objections.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with outbound sales techniques and lead generation strategies.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot for sales automation and email outreach.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies such as SPIN Selling or Challenger Sales.
